Doctrinal Statement
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:15-17, II Peter 1:21).
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
We believe in the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:34-35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11, John 5:1-9, John 11:38-44); His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25, John 20-21, I Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11-16).
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of man, and that sinners are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God’s grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; 5:24, Romans 3:23; 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29). We believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ(Romans 8:9,I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14, I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30; 5:18). We believe in the filling/baptism of the Holy Spirit given to empower believers for service and spreading the Gospel (Acts 1:8; Acts 2). The Gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned within Scripture and demonstrated in the life of Christ, His Disciples, and the Early Church are available to every believer today (1 Corinthians 12-14; Mark 16:17; Joel 2:28; Acts 2).
We believe that we are to test all things 1 Thess. 5:21. Because Satan masquerades as an "angel of light" we must test the spirits to see if they be of God 1 John 4:1. Modern Christianity is rife full of doctrines of demons and demonic spirits that are trying to use Christina terms and ideas to draw people into demonic supernatural experiences. The supernatural is fore today but must be experienced in the HOLY Spirit and within the boundaries of scripture,
We believe in Baptism in Water. The ordinance of baptism by full immersion in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit is commanded in the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus, they declare to the world that they died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life
Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4
We believe in the Baptism in Holy Spirit. All believers are entitled to, should whole heartedly expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible evidence of the baptism in Holy Spirit is witnessed by the physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance.
Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6 This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry
We believe the Great Commission is a command and not a suggestion. Matt 28:19
We believe God commands everyone, everywhere to repent of there sins and to believe the Gospel Acts 2:38
We believe in living in living a sanctified life. 2 Tim 2:21, Hebrews 12:14 (ESV): "Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord". 1 Peter 1:15-16 1 Thess. 4:7 Rom. 12:1
We believe in the abolition of abortion and the sanctity of life. Psalm 139:13-16 (knitted in the womb), Jeremiah 1:5 (known before birth), and Exodus 20:13 (commandment against murder). Other significant verses emphasize God's role in creating life (Job 31:15, 33:4) and the value of children (Matthew 18:10, 14).
We believe marriage is only between one man and one woman. Genesis 2:18-24 (the foundation of marriage), Proverbs 18:22 (finding a wife is favor from God), and Matthew 19:4-6 (marriage as a divine union).
All forms of homosexuality are sin. Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Genesis 19:1–11, Judges 19:22–24, Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:24, Romans 1:26–27, 1 Corinthians 6:9–10, 1 Timothy 1:9–10, Jude 1:7, Mark 10:6–9.
